Hello, World — I'm Starting Now

Posted on October 4, 2025

If you’re reading this, the DNS gods have done their job and my little corner of the internet is officially alive. After months (okay, years) of bookmarking tutorials, buying domains I never used, and over-engineering note systems, I finally ran the command I was most afraid of:

git push origin main

And nothing exploded. Yet.

Why a personal site, why now?

  1. I want a place that belongs to me.
Twitter threads sink, Medium posts age out, and LinkedIn pulse articles feel like shouting in a corporate lobby. Here the links don’t rot unless I let them.

  2. I miss the old blog web.
The one where people wrote half-baked thoughts, posted weird demos, and linked to each other like we were all holding hands across a chaotic universe. I want to bring a slice of that back—even if I’m the only one reading for a while.

  3. I need a forcing function.
Writing in private is safe. Writing in public is accountability gravity. Shipping imperfect words in public is the fastest way I know to get less wrong.

What you’ll find here

Expect a mix of:

  • Short technical deep-dives
  • Diary-style logs from building side-projects or just my life.

I’m not optimizing for growth, SEO, or newsletter funnels, just honest signal.
